Stormy at Boracay
We went to Boracay last September 26-28. Unfortunately a storm decided to visit the northern part of the country. The strong wind made the waves swell, plus it was raining most of the time , giving the sand a brown sugar like texture, instead of the fantastic white powdery sand Boracay beach was world famous for. But despite these things we still had a grand time. We went sailing on our first day, on stormy like winds. That was a rush. We had to move to one side of the outrigger in order to counteract the strong winds (fun!) . Swimming on the rough waves was fun too, we pretended we were surfing, except we did not have boards. so we got to practice wiping out more than actually surfing. The hotel was fabulous, we were booked at the Tides. it is a beautiful well decorated hotel hidden in D'mall. The Promo price was what got us hooked. P7999 for 3 days 2 nights plus airfare!
